Tender moments.

Tonight, like almost every other night, after Joe and I watched a couple episodes of Lost, we peeked in on all three of the kids.....First we go to Kylee, make sure she is covered, kiss her on the cheek, and go to Jack's room....make sure he is covered...then Mia...same thing. Tonight we did the same as ususal, and I had a tender "mother" moment. As I kissed Jack on the cheek and said "I love you buddy" he rolled over mostly asleep without even opening his eyes said "I love you mommy". He knew it was me even eyes shut and asleep. Now, this might not mean anything to anyone else, but it was a very tender moment for me, and it really makes me feel blessed to have children. I can't ever try to explain my love for them, IT IS JUST TOO MUCH!! I love being a mother! GOOD NIGHT!

I am officially a PRUNE!!

Why? You ask? Am I a prune? Well, I have had so many people tell me that I need to read the stinking Twilight series....well, I finally started a week ago and I have to say I am enjoying it. Who cares, you might say.....well, I DON'T READ!! Me Buffy, I just don't read. I hate reading. I don't know why, I would rather spend my time doing sudoku, or crossword puzzles, or even text twist on the internet. Well, I started reading it a week ago, and I am almost finished. (which might not be a great accomplishment for most readers, but it is for me...HUGE since I think the last time I actually finished a book of my own free will was a goosebumps book in like 6th grade) Now, let me tell you why I am a prune....I was just in the bath tub reading, and couldn't stop, and realized I had been in the tub for an hour...yep, I'm a prune. I guess I am a little behind. Oh well!!

Funny stuff!!!!

Okay, so anyone who as every gone to get their nails done, can agree with me that this is super funny! I love getting my nails done, so I am not "making fun", okay, maybe I am, but just watch this VIDEO and tell me what you think!!!

Water Balloons!!

Me and a couple of my friends decided to do some water balloons the other day for the kids. We had a bag of 150 water balloons, filled them all up, and put them all in the swimming pool, then took a picture of all the kids, and then let them throw the balloons. It took us quite a while to fill those suckers up, but it only took a few minutes for the kids to break them all. Well, they had a fun time anyway.

More Summer Fun

Here are some pictures from the past few weeks, just some of the fun things we did. Joseph's (cousin) birthday party, fire works, swimming, Chucky Cheeses, and more! My sister Ana made a cool Curious George cake for Joseph's birthday, she is pretty darn creative.

Mia loves to be bundled when she falls asleep during the day. I have her bundled in my bed with a pillow and blankets around her. Yes, her foot is coming out of the blanket. She sleeps a lot with her feet up, kinda silly huh!?! I just had to get a picture cause I think she is so cute.

Oh, and just to set the record straight, I HAD mono when I was in high school, and they told me that it would always be "dormant" in my body, and that if my immune system ever got really thrashed again, that it could come back. Well, I started to get the symptoms for it, and they came and they are basically gone except for the swollen glands, and the hurty spleen. But compared to how it was in high school, NOTHING! I guess that my body has built up antibodies against it, so it doesn't strike as bad. Still not fun, but I am all itch free (pretty much anyway) and feeling sooooooo soooooooo sooooooo much better, so thanks for all your worries!!!
